Wizard People Scribe Services was established in 1992. It was established as a new Division of Wizard People to meet the growing demand for HR consultants experienced in the preparation of Selection Committee Reports and the requirements of the Public Service Act and guidelines for recruitment as set out by the then Public Service Board. The aim was to ensure that Selection Reports were prepared correctly and in a timely manner, that was also cost effective to the client organisation.
Wizard People Scribe Services has grown into a significant arm of Wizard People. Our Scribe numbers have grown to a present team of 20 Scribes – all with extensive APS backgrounds to Executive and SES level, and all with work experience in Human Resource and Recruitment areas of Government.
Wizard People Scribe Services offer the following schedule of services for individual and/or bulk recruitment processes:
- Receiving applications
- Short listing of candidates
- Preparation of ‘unsuccessful letters’
- Scheduling of interviews
- Full scribing service including attendance at interview and preparation of Selection Report or preparation of reports from interview notes only
- Serving as a selection member
- Contact with referees and preparation of referee reports;
- Preparation of letters to the delegate
- Preparation of ‘Order of Merit’
- Preparation of ‘unsuccessful letters’ to interviewees
After consultation with the Manager of Wizard People Scribes Services we can also provide to our clients:
- Advertising of vacancies
- Dispatch of Selection Criteria to candidates
- Preparation of file of all applicants
Wizard People Scribe Services does not specialise in any one area of recruitment, we have the experience and capability to assist with all positions from APS 1 through to SES or equivalent positions. We have Scribed for selection processes with 2 candidates, or with 100+ candidates interviewed. Wizard People have the experience and capability to undertake Scribing assignments across many and varied skill sets as well as professional positions such as Legal Officers, Information Technology Officers, Accountants and Medical Officers.
