Human Resources Manager

Our client is a well established community based, not for profit organisation offering a diverse range of services for the residents of Canberra. They are seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to support the staff across the variant locations.
On a daily basis your duties will include:
- Develop, implement and manage Human Resources strategies, policies and procedures
- Coordinate all recruitment and selection related activities
- Manage, promote and ensure compliance with Work, Health and Safety and statutory requirements across the organisation.
- Manage Workers Compensation and Return to work programs
- Manage the corporate traineeship program
- Conduct Industrial Relations and Award Interpretations
- Drive the organisations new Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.
As the successful candidate you will possess the following skills/experience:
- Solid time management, planning and organisational skills
- Self motivated and keen to embrace new ideas/learning
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Sound knowledge/experience of HR function
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated experience in workplace relations, OH & S, recruitment and performance management
- Relevant Qualification (desirable)
